Training Policies

Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

Program Fees & Payment

The total fee for the Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapist Training is $1195, covering all eight sessions. Discounts may be applied for early bird and sliding scale spots. To discuss sliding scale spots, please email trainings@divergentpathscounseling.com.

Full payment is required upon registration to secure your spot. Payment plans may be available upon request, but all balances must be paid in full before the first session.

Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. In the case of an emergency, you may email us to explain the situation, and Lila will decide whether an exception is warranted. Exceptions are not guaranteed and will be made at her discretion. This policy ensures the sustainability of the program and allows us to maintain the quality of training.

In the rare event that the program is canceled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued.

Missed Sessions & Participant Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a live session, you will have access to a recorded version. However, in order to receive the certificate for completing the course, (1) you may not miss more than 2 of the live sessions, (2) you must communicate about your extenuating circumstances with Lila, and (3) you must demonstrate that you have watched the entire recordings of the missed sessions.

Watching recordings does not qualify for CE credit in this live program. The NBCC requires live attendance for CE hours associated with live training events. CE credit will be awarded only for the hours a participant is actively present during the live training. (CE hours available for this course are pending approval)

No partial refunds will be provided for participant cancellations, except by Lila’s discretion in the case of an emergency as noted above.

Program Commitment

This training is designed as a full eight-session series, and your registration is a commitment to the full program. While we understand that unexpected circumstances arise, our policies reflect the need for reliability in scheduling and financial planning.

By registering, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy

We value your feedback!

Our goal is to provide a meaningful, high-quality learning experience in the Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapist Training. If you have a concern or complaint about any part of the training, we encourage you to reach out — we want to hear from you and do our best to address it.

How to Submit a Complaint

If something isn't working for you, please let us know! You can email us at trainings@divergentpathscounseling.com within 14 days of the issue.

When you reach out, it’s helpful to include:

  • A clear description of your concern

  • Any relevant details (like the date of a session or specific materials)

  • What kind of resolution or response you’re hoping for

What Happens Next

  • We'll reply within 5 business days to let you know we’ve received your message.

  • Your concern will be reviewed by Lila, who may follow up to gather more information if needed.

  • Lila will make herself available for a video call as soon as possible (within 1-2 weeks, as schedules allow) to discuss what you shared and how she can resolve the issue.

If You’re Still Not Satisfied

If you feel like your concern wasn’t fully addressed, you’re welcome to request a follow-up review. We’ll consider these requests on a case-by-case basis and do our best to resolve things within the guidelines of our program policies.

That said, any adjustments — like refunds or rescheduling — will need to align with our existing policies.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • We may not be able to resolve complaints related to personal preferences, disagreements with the content, or situations outside of our control.

  • We reserve the right not to respond to complaints that are hostile, aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate.

By participating in this training, you agree to this process for addressing concerns.

Thank you for helping us make this a respectful and supportive learning space!
