About the event
As practitioners, we often approach Executive Function (EF) as a series of logistical hurdles to be cleared with planners, timers, and checklists. But when a client meets these tools with resistance, the skills-based approach falls apart.
This workshop is designed for therapists who want to learn how to support their most complex and resistant clients with EF. We will explore the vital link between cognitive skill-building and emotional connection, shifting the focus from compliance to collaboration.
Important: A Foundation for Success
This session is the direct follow-up to our foundational training, Executive Functioning Therapy: From Core Concepts to Advanced Neurodiversity-Affirming Strategies
While we’ll briefly recap the core concepts of that session, we highly recommend watching the first training before we dive in. That session establishes the groundwork for my 3-step model (Shame -> Mindfulness -> Skillfulness). Without that foundational context, it is difficult to move a client past the "shame"…
