Lila Low-Beinart (she/her/hers)
Autistic Therapist, Teacher, &
Owner of Divergent Paths Counseling
Lila Low-Beinart MA, LPC is a licensed psychotherapist and pioneer in the field of neurodiversity-affirming therapy. As the owner of Divergent Paths Counseling in Boulder, CO, and multiply neurodivergent herself, she supports neurodivergent individuals of all ages, with a focus on gender minorities, women/girls, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Lila brings expertise in working with trauma, executive functioning, depression, and relationships, within a neurodiversity framework.
Her approach integrates contemplative practices, parts work, authentic relating, and somatic work, tailored to each client's unique needs. She believes that all individuals possess innate wisdom, and that rather than “fixing” people, her role is to guide them to shift from surviving to thriving. In addition to individual therapy, Lila offers relationship counseling, group therapy, and support for parents/caregivers of neurodivergent children.
A passionate educator with over ten years of experience, Lila runs a 24 CE clinical neurodiversity-affirming training, and provides education and consultation to graduate students, mental health professionals, and community organizations. She shares the transformative power of the neurodiversity paradigm with trainees, teaching on neuroaffirming practices, neurodivergent trauma, executive functioning, and more, promoting greater understanding and compassion for neurodivergent individuals.
As a prominent voice in the field, Lila is regularly featured in print and podcasts. In 2022, she established the Front Range's first neurodiversity-affirming group practice as a branch of Neurodiverse Counseling Services. She is also the Vice President and founding member of the Neurodivergent Therapists of Colorado Networking Group, a community for licensed mental health therapists in Colorado who are sensory neurodivergent (e.g. ADHD, Autism, HSP).
Lila is white, queer, mostly cis, and neurodivergent herself - highly sensitive, autistic, and gifted. She is a former pharmaceutical chemist, and current meditator, yogi, musician, book lover, and partner. Her lived experience and diverse background inform her work and allow her to connect deeply with her clients as well as inspire the hearts and minds of her trainees.

Admin Assistant
West has always been passionate about helping others, whether through hands-on support or a listening ear. Be it with a friend, neighbor, colleague, or client, they love building strong connections with their communities.
Currently, West finds fulfillment in supporting therapists and clients by streamlining administrative tasks, enabling them to focus on the therapeutic process. Prior to this role, West spent several years working on a suicide and crisis hotline, which gave them lots of opportunities to be there for others. On the phone, they held space for people from all walks of life who needed compassionate, non-judgmental support during a dark moment.
While they draw on their history working with folks across the spectrum of lived experiences, West always focuses on connecting with individuals from a place of humility and curiosity, knowing that they will always have more to learn about other people and their unique lives.
Outside of work, West enjoys spending time in nature, reading fantasy and science fiction, and loving on their pets. They look forward to working with you to make accessing therapy as seamless as possible!
